ABOUT

Consumed by light and composed with passion. Whitney Weidow creates a sense of nostalgic story-telling of places that you may just recognize, and send you back to a simpler time. As a full time mom of two beautiful boys, she finds time to get away to express herself in the studio next to an easel. Raised in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana with an amazing art community, Whitney found herself among them. Fortunate enough to apprentice under Gary Lynn Roberts, an accomplished Western Artist, for two eventful years.  Since then, Whitney was a member of the Montana Professional Artists Association with two shows a year in Hamilton and Missoula, MT. Has been a part of the Out West Art Show and Sale since 2021. She won “The Mayor’s Award as Best New Artist” in 2021 at the Out West Show in Great Falls, MT. She has shown with Western Spirit Art Show in Cheyenne, WY. Sold a few pieces through the Big Sky Art Auction in Big Sky, MT. Whitney is also proud to have shown with the Russel Museum .
